During your training as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) you will be responsible for receiving, storing and shipping new goods. Thanks to digital technology, you never lose track of what is stored in huge warehouses and know exactly which product is stored on which shelf.

The training to become a specialist for warehouse logistics takes a total of three years. It also has a dual structure, i.e. you attend vocational school one to two days a week or in a block and learn practical know-how in the training company.

In the first and second year of training you learn the basics: How are goods transported and stored correctly? How does order picking work with data collection devices? What should I bear in mind when packing and shipping?

In the third year you will deepen your knowledge and take on more responsibility, for example you will learn how to order new goods or which customs regulations have to be observed when shipping abroad. Of course, your most important location for training as a specialist for warehouse logistics is the warehouse.

After a few years of professional experience, you can increase your chances of promotion by passing the master's examination or studying, for example logistics or supply chain management.
